Eye-gaze-controlled interfaces allow the direct manipulation of a graphical user interface by looking at it. This technology has great potential in military aviation, particular, operating different displays situations where pilots’ hands are occupied with flying aircraft. paper reports studies on analyzing accuracy eye-gaze-controlled inside aircraft undertaking representative missions. We report that using interfaces, pilots can undertake pointing and selection tasks less than two seconds average transport Further, we analyzed eye-gaze-tracking glasses under various G load factors failure modes. observed eye-tracking is 5˚of visual angle up to+3G, although accurate 21G +5G. also found existing eye tracker fails to track eyes higher external illumination needs have larger vertical field view presently available systems. used this analysis develop eye-gaze trackers for multi-functional head-mounted display system (HMDS). obtained significant reduction times our proposed HMDS compared traditional thumb-stick-based target designation system.
